The Chastaine de Aphrodite estates like the rest of the Aphrodite capital was designed after the great Greek architecture of ancient Greece of so called 1st earth. At least, so told legends that lived on through the centuries. Marble could be found as a widly used material in the Aphrodites architecture, it was strong and held up well against the cold and snow that batters the country for a good portion of the year. Buildings were adorn with Sculpture of the human figure idealized just as tales told of old earth. Often in the winter months barely a color was to be seen but the dark green of the evergreen forest that scattered the mountains of the great capital, Aprodiite.
Although Freya’s Father was the governor of Weine he had preferred to remain in the capital of Amethest, his home town, and often left on business trips back to Weine to a summer home he kept there. Blessed with a loving wife and three handsome children, a son and two daughters. Govornor Anthon and his family traveled back and fourth with him their family seldom separated, that was until the monarch had taken his second eldest child as a wife. Thereby creating a third home for his family.
By request of his 2nd child Sophia, his youngest child was summoned to court, leaving him with only his wife and sometimes his eldest child; a son to eventually keep him company, For much of a day. Today was no different.
“Freya, the car is here.” Freya passed into the room her red silk dress’s tail dragging behind her slowly, she flicked her wrist spreading the fan in her right hand. “Virgil, are you ready yourself dear brother, it will be a long Night I think.”
“Aye Dear sister, though it’s a shame father and mother have business here.” He frowned a bit in their direction in the parlor. Freya nodded picking up the train a little as maids finished attaching pearl earrings in her ears.
“Thank you Adelaid, Anise.” They quickly curtsied and returned to other chores.
“Yes, but you know business keep father away from court often, but at least he has peace while tending to it.” She passed by Virgil and into the parlor, taking her fathers hand in hers and placing a soft kiss on her father’s cheek, wiping away some of the red lipstick and white powder she left on his cheek. “I’m sorry you cannot make it to court with us Papa, but I am sure Sister will send us home with extras for you and mother.”
Governor Anthon chuckled heartedly nodding, softly squeezing his daughters hand in his. “Yes, Your sister truly delights in spoiling us I think.”
Virgil kissed his mother cheek gently after Freya.
“Have fun my dears, tell your sister I send my love.”
“Of course we will mother.” Freya smiled assuredly. Turning to head out of the parlor and down the hallway Her high healed evergreen shoes echoeing against the marbles floor after her.
“Take care of yourself and your sisters son” the govonor called after his son as he laid back into his chair comfortably.
“Aye Father, I’ll not let them out of my sight to any one not equipped with my trust.” Virgil turned back in the direction he walked following after his sister down the hall.
