Which one should I go for first?

Well I don't really want to bother much anyone or anything, but I've been crossing my mind about what to get by the end of this month for the next. Yes, I am a PlayStation Fan, but that doesn't mean I can't share any love for the Wii or 360 now does it now. Reason I'm asking which I should go for first is well, everyone has their own bills to pay and I have a few spared saved to actually buy either one for now - I'll buy the other(which I won't buy first) sometime in October(money of the yearz!!111<3 along with November/December). Why the Xbox 360 Elite over the Premium? It's black, sexy with HDMI plus it's fat!(120GB HDD). The PS3 60GB's are still around at the moment, 80GB's isn't worth it.

- Choosing PlayStation 3 60GB
The Good:
~ Pre-ordered Minna no Golf 5(JP), Megazone 23: Aoi Garland LIMITED EDITION(JP), Heavenly Sword(US) for September 14th shipment arrival to my house from Play-Asia.
~ Access PlayStation Network, finally get my PSN Handle, download demos, videos, etc.
~ Upscaled PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 games, going to continue Xenosaga Episode III if so.
~ 5 free Blu-Ray Films of my choice(Get them by mail, not during purchase.... 300 is a must for me....)

The Bad:
~ No Halo 3 Party, Bioshock & Blue Dragon for me until sometime in October.
~ No PlayStation 3 games until September 14th with the upcoming games I've been looking forward to lately.

- Choosing Xbox 360 Elite
The Good:
~ Already own Gears of Wars Collectors Edition(don't ask how or why).
~ Halo 3 midnight launch in BestBuy near me with a few friends.
~ Bioshock & Blue Dragon ownedz yay!?

The Bad:
~ No Megazone 23, Minna no Golf 5 & Heavenly Sword gaming for me until getting a PlayStation 3.
~ No Games(excluding gears of war) during purchase after one or two weeks for Blue Dragon, Bioshock & Halo 3(probably Lost Planet and some others).
~ No Wifi means no LIVE(+$150 cash for online gameplay and Wireless Network Adapter - 1 month free gold live is ok but still.....) for me for one or two weeks after my purchase of the 360 Elite.


Sorry, no Wii for me until Brawl sees daylight - never been interested in most of Nintendo IP's either.

Mass Effect. Otherwise, go with the PS3? I brought a handful of upscaled Xbox games (I already had a xbox) when I got my 360. If you missed out on them a lot of good ones are playable like: panzer dragoon orta, kingdom under fire, knights of the old republic, shit even suideki...

You seem to have the PS backlog covered so why not do the same with the 360?

I have an Xbox with me, just most of them weren't much of an interest for me. Never really though of using 360's BC due to it's very limited. KOTOR is the best imo, KOTOR2 phailed(imo again). I don't think I will be using it, maybe I will for Conker: Live & Reloaded... that is if I find it. :/

I'd go with the PS3, I haven't played either of those systems but that also means I can be objective. Once you get it online it's free, you can watch those 5 blu ray movies on it, etc.

Xbox 360 + HDDVD add on + 1 year LIVE probably costs almost as much as a PS3, and the PS3 will eventually end up cheaper what with free online. Also, there seem to be more games for the PS3 that you are interested in.

Well, I would go for 360 in since you are really close to the launch, its got Mass Effect too. Blue Dragon got some bad ratings, I think it sucks. Plus, Bioshock as well. I think Mercs 2 comes out soon. as well.

I heard Bioshock is coming out on the PS3 as well, although its still just a rumour I think.

I'd say PS3 as some amazing games are coming out for it soon, just not right now annoyingly.

PS3, and get Rathcet Future, Heavenly Sword, Lair, Warhawk, and all those cool games when they come. For Halo 3 and GeoW, go to your friends.

For Bioshock, very strong rumors suggests PS3 version the developers themselvs has discussed a PS3 version.

Bioshock should go to the PS3 i'd be surprised if it didn't, plus eventually a 360 will be a regrettable purchase after the PS3 releases the doggs and has some great games.

PS3 For sure not just saying that. I have had my fair play with XBOX 360 and it's great, but I think that the PS3 has more potential. Have you seen the Playstation Eye Video yet? That things a trip. I was never interested in the Eye Toy but this thing rocks. I think having a PS3 will definitely pay off in the future. The games coming out really soon are going to be just amazing. Plus FFXIII and FFVXIII, what more do you need?

Looking back at your first post. Xbox360 now. You said you are going to pick them both up sooner or later so best to get the 360 with all the games now then PS3 and wait for them come out later, no? I mean everyone is saying the "ps3 will have great games in the future" and you are going to get one or the other in the near future so just wait for the future!

I would go for PS3 as well. But the problem is, people say that there si going to be good games on PS3 in the Future, but who knows. But I still like PS3 though.

Well I bought myself a XBox 360 around 09/23/07, bought Halo 3 & Eternal Sonata. Love those two games, although not really interested much into the whole Halo 3 online matchmaking - Eternal Sonata's gameplay is fucking awesome, although the story isn't that great it even gets you bored after the few minutes of the beginning once pressing "NEW GAME" but still gameplay & pretty graphics make up for it.

10/10/07 leads to this (http://xs220.xs.to/xs220/07413/maiwtfRROD.jpg), due to that I now just bought myself(with the returning the ELITE getting my $481 cash-back) a PlayStation 3 60GB along with a HDMI Cable, Blood Diamon Blu-Ray Disc, along side with The Orange Box for Pc - No PS3 game yet, not until I get my hands on my new Ceramic White PSP Slim next weekend with FFT & a few others. (no pics of ps3/orange/etc since my mother took my camera away for her vacation lol..)

PS: I'm not impressed with Ninja Gaiden Sigma, don't think I'll be interested in Ninja Gaiden II now so I'll removing that from my wants in X360. Maybe I'll give the demo a try again, it's not hard just camera issue and other crap. >>;

definately get that, and if you're not into awesome action games then dont look forward to NG2 :lol: If you like fighting games, all of them except for Tekken are on 360, and they all have online play. Racing there's Forza 2 PGR3/4 and the other usuals. Shooters- pretty much all of them...RPG's- Blue Dragon (Okay) Lost Odyssey (looks good) Eternal Sonata (good) and in the future there's Cry On, Infinite Undiscovery, The last Remnant and more..

If you didn't already decide what to buy, I'll go for the 360. It already has some amazing games. Also, some games come lately because of the PS3. Like GTA IV, and the NFS: PS demo for PS3. Now... I know that it isn't so hard to make a PS3 game as the devs say, but it will be a excuse for them.

The 3RoD (3 rings of death) could be a risky choose, but you can always change it with your warranty. And the 65nm consoles are very close.

So, I'll go for a 360 :)
