Friday the 13th movies are gay, but not in a good way. I think they are like watching paint drying off.
Every Jason = Bored teens going to Camp Lake, and getting brutally slain. Continuality errors are plentiful. Like, how does Jason melt away in a sewer but come back in the next film??
One of the horrendous sequels even has a girl with psychic powers who accidentally revives Jason from the bottom of the lake, and in another one Jason gets struck with lightning and becomes stronger.
What I like about Freddy is that he is at least bettered on occasion by his intended victims, where as Jason kills everybody off with ease so there is no fun or purpose. I like that with Freddy, one survivor can prelude to a sequel and get killed, BUT not before having some sort of major impact on the other characters. Example: Kristen gives half of her powers to Alice, but to Freddy too. Alice uses these new powers to fend off against Freddy not once, but twice.
Jason just flat out sucks.
