why not, the main reason why I didn't like Advent Children was because it was a sequel to FFVII while an original movie that manages to capture the FF spirit(not Spirit Within) should be amazing

I think it would be great, they just need to balance storyline and fighting. I would kinda like the fighting to be a little more realistic than in AC.

I wouldn't mind if they created a movie. It just has to be more realistic, and a much better storyline, than Advent Children. Action would be okay, just not to game like. And it would be interesting to see the characters look more like actual people, like Square was originally going to do with AC.

To be honest Advent Children had one of the worst tacked-on plots I've ever seen. The fighting was pretty but that was about it.

Spirits Within had quite a good narrative at points, but was however quite boring.

Maybe striking up the feel they can create in the games might be too hard for them in a movie? I hope not because I'd love to see a good Final Fantasy movie.

But why would they need a movie? I mean FFX the game might as well BE a movie, since there's several animations with great graphics popping out every once in a while :D

If they put several animations in the game there would be no need for a movie ^_^

I think the game itself would be like a movie.. I mean the whole style and everything, the only difference between the movie of the game and the game would be that you do the fighting and solve missions. So you don't really need a movie however for the people who don't have or going to buy a Playstation 3 it would be a nice idea ^_^

Reading is fun. You must love reading the last post and basing your whole idea of the topic on the fact that FFX had a lot of cutscenes, FMV's, and little exploration.

But any who isn't the game it's self like a moive i mean since we seen some of the scenes without fighting it looks like it has millions of scenes where we are not involded in playing but then again playing with the new fighing system it's as if you are wathcing a movie. Anyway, I don't think there will be a movie in the series but that's probably just wishful thinking. If SE continues with their practice for that big day when they can finally afford to open up their own dairy there will probably be prequels, sequels and spin-offs for all three titles and probably a movie too. Oh and hype, don't forget the hype.

Like seriously, they made one of the most amazing games ever and then they make a movie about it with, well, shitty plot. Yes, there was few cool fights but that' doesn't make a good movie.

If they make a movie, they should really focus on making the characters and plot DEEP and interesting, then i'll like it. :|

They can make these wonderful characters and stories in a 60+ hour game but for some reason they can't do it for a 100 minute movie. I didn't mind the movies but I'd never call them anything other than average despite their graphical brilliance.

I think a movie would be a bad idea because FFXIII fans will want a FFXIII related movie and FF Versus XIII fans will want a FF Versus XIII movie and same goes for the FFXIII Agito fans.

Ultimately, SE will be forced to put characters from all 3 games in the movie and that wouldn't work unless the movie was loosely based around time travel or something.

i would piss me off if they did a movie. they should focus on the games and put all there ideas in to that. if they have time to think about a movie they have time to improve the games.

anyway think about what they did with ffvii AC, there were good fight scense but the story was utter crap, its only a way to show off what ffvii would look like in a CG movie.

Yeah I'd just prefer it if SE put 100% effort into getting FNC done, adding a movie to the already immense workload is going to effect the quality of the games.
