(Not sure if anybodys done a thread on this or whatever, i just cant be bothered to wade through and find it :D)

Anybody wanting this game so badly aswell :(
Just started flicking through the Agust edition of OPM and looked at the big ass spred on Assasins Creed.
Looks brilliant.
Just the whole production of it seems so smooth, same with the game, and keeping to reality with, one blow and your dead senario, its all brilliant and realistic.
Can't freaking wait :D

zing, This game looks awesome and is one of the 4 games i am reallllly looking forward to, those other ones being GTA IV, XIII and The Force Unleashed. I found out yesterday if november 2nd, the game costs 39.99 on most websites and the limited edition (which is actually limited) costs about 50-60 quid i think.

Downloadable content makes it even more awesome and 2 sequels to the game have been announced. I love any game where your free to explore and there are hundreds of ways to do something. Its awesome.

Yep, I want this game badly, too!:D

Can't wait to try out those 'leap of faith' moves, and the whole game just looks amazing - hopefully it'll really show what PS3 is capable of (and 360 as well, I guess).

Anyone know if they're going to release a demo anytime soon?

It just looks brilliant, jumping from roofs into piles of hay. wayhay :D
Altair it just all around awesomeness, the perfect assassin, its just his stature and almost devious figure.

counter moves seem great aswell, being able to throw back awesome strikes will be great. I might just push a villager and cut them up for the hell of it once i buy it. :cunning:

I think that Assassins creed was born from the ideas that made POP great, so, I am waiting, eager for it to come out.

And most companies who are making new "quality" games which have stuff in them which no games have had before are multi-platforming to see what each system can do with their games. Assassins Creed uses something in the PS3 which isn't in the Xbox 360 so the PS3 version should be better but the PC version will probably dominate.

Hopefully, we will finally see some real use of the SPE's to achieve better graphics and framerate among the multiplatformers...

And Flint, I think 360 gave us something pretty close to the limit in GeoW...

About special features, the PS3 uses the SIXAXIS and the 360 uses rumble to indicate some stuff when climbing, how close to slip something, I think it was.

It is, it can be played on the Xbox 360 and the PC.

The new Splinter Cell is console exclusive to 360 simply because Microsoft paid Ubisoft a ton of money to make it so.

Assassins Creed is multiformat, but from the look of it so far that doesn't seem to have compromised the quality of the game - it should be great whichever machine you're playing it on.
