As our forums have grown over the past year from a few members posting about 40 posts daily to the average of about 300 - 450 posts which we receive now, the forums design needs to grow with us. So! Me and Dante (mostly me :shifty:) have been testing out this skin for the past two weeks and now we think it's time for launch.

It's another dark theme...slightly darker than our previous actually but it looked so sexeh we had to have it. I've gone over every bit of it and I've fixed any bugs which our forum mods caused and customized it slightly to my liking. I know we still have the old short banner but we're sorting that out as well as working on a new layout for our site during the summer. Also! Credit goes to Yurian for making the Overclock Gauge forum icons because I lack any cutting out skills: http://forums.finalfantasy-xiii.net/showthread.php?t=1509 (http://forums.finalfantasy-xiii.net/showthread.php?t=1509)and I made it so the link colour is different to the text colour just for Desi.

If any of you prefer the old theme you can still use it by scrolling to the bottom of the forum index and selecting it from the drop down list :). If you can see any problems with it please contact me so I can fix them. Enjoy!

I like it a lot. Some of the colors could get changed a bit, but its better than the old one.

Now all we need is Shop&Gil. :D

Yes, the new link thing is wonderful. maybe people will actually understand what I tell them now.

Like I said guys we aren't gonna keep the banner. There were complications in it's creation so it's been slightly delayed.

And you can't see anything Desi? :blink: Turn up the brightness on your monitor! Otherwise you can change it back to the old style: http://re-try.com/pics/stylechanger.gif

Actually I made those images last night before this skin was lauched so I had no idea that you guys were using that image. I thought the exact same thing when I just came here. I was like "Hey they stole our Idea".

Thanks :) One odd thing though...the width of the forums varies in IE and Firefox. Need to fix that or it'll always be to small for Internet Explorer.

Firefox v2.0.0.6

When I tried using Internet Explorer to see if it's just my Firefox having the problem, but it doesn't show up in my IE too. :? I have this banner problem at another forum I joined too. (-____-);

However if I switch back to the old version. I can see the banner just find. I was able to see the banner when I joined here with the new skin. However, I think the banner have been fix now with it's width problem (by everyone's comment) I can't see it anymore.

Weird. I wonder what's wrong.

Clicking the direct link might even fix the banner problem all together.
Clicked. Saw the banner (very awesome one btw. :D), but it still doesn't show up on top. Tried with IE too and still the same.

I set my firefox to clear its cache when I close the browser. I rarely use IE, but I just clear the caches for it and try going to this site again, but it's still the same....

Wow, It looks great. I have to say that I like it a lot better than the last one. I guess it seems to be more professional. Simple, but good. I think what makes the most difference is that the main focal point is the “good animation” and not those cell phone guys. XD Yet, you still incorporated them in the background be hind the white silhouette.
