Ok guys, got Feral Behemoth few hours ago, my question is related to him, it says he's a "late bloomer" so I would like to know if it is good to level him up and if it is cost effective... I love those creatures so I would like to know. I won't level him up if he is too expensive.

Thanks !!

Well, if you're talking about the standard Behemoth, he has the most STR when at max. Though people don't usually use Behemoth too much, cos he's a 'Very Late Bloomer' requiring an hectic amount of Potents... One of the most expensive in the game nonetheleast.

Your alternative is Narasimha (Albino Behemoth) and Proto Behemoth, Proto Behemoth is the most cost-effective Behemoth in the game, though PB's stats fall slightly from Narashimha and the standard Behemoth.

It's totally up to you, though personally I stuck with Narasimha as my main COM until Twilight Odin. But the strongest COM in the game is Chichu, a secret Crystal.

Standard Behemoth Max at level 70.
You need 24 Silvers, 32 Orbs, 63 Essenses and 52 Crystals.

If you use all Potent Materials, your final stat will be around (with 30% HP passive and 35% Strength & Magic passives):
10,505 HP
1,188 Str
539 Magic

If you use all Power Materials, your final stat will be around (with 30% HP passive and 35% Strength & Magic passives):
7,640 HP
1,520 Str
354 Magic

Note: You final stat may slight vary because the monsters base stat are random. You might not want to infuse him with 35% Magic Passive because he is a Commando.

If I were you, I spend those materials on Chichu, which is the best (Non-DLC) Commando IMO.

Got Feral Behemoth really early in the game and I was asking since I love behemoths especially this one's Bellow... But my primary beast would be chichu, I'm looking for useful alternatives so I could fight with someone else and not just chichu all the time. I have Albino Lobo as ravager and he is kicking a** and he will stay as ravager until end of the game...

P.S Had to start over, my profile got corrupted so I did " Format Hard Drive"

If you like alternative Ravager, try Cloudburst. His will grow over 1300 Magic if you build all Mana materials, and his Feral Link is very handy for quick buff.

If you plan to spend on DLC, but Commando V. Lightning and Ravager Lightning are very awesome.

Got Narasimha today and I'm using it because it look awesome but I can't believe it's weaker then Miniflan lol (300 Strength, 295 Magic), I think Miniflan could be a good substitute for Chichu, you get Chichu late in the game which is stupid. What's the difference throwing moogle into pile of red flowers or improved moogle throw into pile of red flowers lol... Cloudburst, cloudburst, sounds unknown to me, never heard of it I'll see what that monster is...

Miniflan final Strength is far lower than Chichu, and it is much slower.
With all Power Build, Chichu strength is over 1500+ with 35% Strength Passive. Whereas, Miniflan final strength is around 1300 with 35% Strength Passive. Plus Miniflan don't learn Armor Breaker ability.

But earlier in the game, it might be a good substitute for Chichu although I haven't really tried it.
Yes, I wish we can get Chichu earlier but then all the battles will be super easy with it. lol

Cloudburst is in: Archylte Steepe ???AF - Cloudy weather.

I ve just read that Debris is good too, Cloudburst and Debris are somehow same but there is a difference. I won't waste time bothering with Blue Chocobo it would take be 15 days to get one lol...
Albino Lobo, before my save file got lost got him after the first fight and now I got him after 5 Hours of doing circles, frustrating, that's for sure lol. I hope it's not the same thing with Cloudburst or Debris...

Debris vs Cloudburst... on IGN they say Cloudburst is slightly better then Debris but I think that isn't true... Just look at their stats (as enemies) Cloudburst is weak on fire and has no magic resistance while Debris is resistant to every element and takes normal magic damage...

Found yellow , blue and Red chocobo and got white and red,

They both have the same amount of Magic Power at max.
But Debris highest HP is merely half of Cloudburst, and Debris is rare to find.
(Harder to find than Blue Chocobo. lol)
For Magic Resistance, you can always infuse another monster with Magic Resistance Passive into Cloudburst.
IMO, Cloudburst is the best non-DLC Ravager, and you will love his Feral Link ability. :D

You know I ve encountered Debris 50 times by now and they are really easy to find if you know where to look. Oh and got Chichu today and I can say that you can get him in mid part of the game. When you unlock the Serendipity, just went there to some crazy woman named Mystic and got improved moogle throw lol and I'm using him right now no matter his HP is low... Cloudburst is crazy, that is true but I don't like that he can only learn blizzard and aero attacks... Oh yeah and fought against Blue chochobo, slapped him 30 times and he ran away...

Could you help me with Navidon ? What should I use on him... That Regenerative carapace makes me sick...

Oh, I didn't know Debris is easy to find. ;) but then, I wasn't really looking for it anyways.

You can infuse these monsters into Cloudburst to learn other abilities:
Zwerg Metro (level 20) To learn Fearsiphon
Flanbanero (level 45) To learn Fire, Fira, Firaga
Pink Lily (level 30) To learn Bliizard, Blizzara
Zwerg Scandroid (level 40) To learn Thunder and Thandara
Circuitron (level 15) To learn Thundaga

(Save before you infuse all these in case you messed up.)

Navidon is Sentinel. I would use all Vitality materials. It max at Level 40, and you need 148 Vitality Essenses.

If you use all Potent Materials, your final stat would be around:
5401 HP (without 30% HP Boost)
7021 Hp (with 30% HP Boost)

If you use all Vitality Materials, your final stat would be around:
6193 HP (without 30% HP Boost)
8051 HP (with 30% HP Boost)

Never used him, so I don't know how good he is.

Navidon, if it has it's scale then it's impossible to kill him... 50 HP Damage per hit lol, did a lot in the game, Chichu is lvl 3x, training Flanitor to lean Esunada but it's so expensive to train him and have Silver Chocobo (I would say Grey)...

Oh and I'm using Munchkin as my monster commando lol... Munchkin, remember him in FF 13 lol...

Debris is to easy to find, got to fight them 5 times in a row, it's at that gate up there which you can't open even with Wild Artifact...

Circuitron is maxed and it sucks badly... Magic is 600+

Oh were you asking how to fight Navidon? Have you tried Rav-Rav-Rav and Stagger him fast?
Then, Com-Com-Com to finish him off?

And yeah, I have Debris. I just don't use him at all.
For Circuitron, I only capture him for his Thundaga Ability to infuse into another Monster.

For Goblin type of monsters, I only use Goblin Cheiftain (Sentinal). His Feral Link abiliy is awesome too like Cloudburst. He and Cloudbust make a great team. :D

Cloudburst Feral Link Cast: Faith, Veil, Vigilance and Enfrost
Goblin Chieftain Feral Link Cast: Bravery, Protect, Shell, Veil and Vigilance

Perfect team for quick buff against tough bosses when they are staggered. lol

I'm looking to have bird party with me... I'm having no luck with Green and Blue chocobo. Got Green one to spawn 10 times in a row and got nothing it's frustrating... I even defeat him with Feral Link but still nothing... Got Navidon after few tries but he isn't cool as Silver Chocobo... Ravager's work better on him then Commando's

I like Cloudburst's Feral link but it has disadvantage. What if you try it on Twilight Odin, then what ? Flanitor is bad a** with his Hyper Rescue oh and Behemoth's Bellows is cool too !! It is something similar to Friendly Fire...

To me, Green and Purple Chocobos are pretty ridiculously hard to catch.
Finish all fragments in Vile Peak 10 AF and 200AF, visit Mystics in Serendipity and unlock the "Monsters Hunter" fragment skill. It will make much easier to catch the monsters.

Got a lot yesterday... Finished Bodhum (003 AF, Yaschas Massif (010 AF, 01x AF), Bresha Ruins (005 AF), got to Vile Peaks today and got 11/12 artifacts, just need that one more...

Here is another question, birds again... White and Green are Medics so question is which is better...

What do you think ? I hope White is the right one...

Their Max HP are about the same.

With Potent Materials Build, their max were around 6304HP without 30% HP passives. With 30% HP passive, thier max were around 8195HP.

With Vitality Materials Build, their max were around 7968 HP without 30% HP passives. With 30% HP passive, thier max were around 10358 HP.

IMO, Green is better because he learns Improved Cure II. (And I heard Improved Cure II charges Feral Guage faster. Im not sure tho.)

And it depends on your play style.
I never use Medic Monsters cuz Serah and Noel are good enough medic. Instead I use Synergic Monsters that has Offensive Buff (Purple Chocobo, Gahongas, Yashini, Sazh) cuz Serah and Noel don't learn those abilities.

My typical Paradigm Pack includes Com Monsters, Rav Monsters and Syn Monsters. Against tough bosses, I switch out Syn Monsters or Rav Monsters w/ Sen Monsters.

Again, that's my play style. I like finishing battles quick. lol

Interesting, I'll see what Yakshini is capable of... I went to see what I can do against Long Gui today and it was really easy, not hard at all got him within 2 staggers, Yomi was harder then Long Gui... I only use 3 monsters all the time, not interested in changing... I'm not using Chichu at all, he/she is boring...

Try Yakshini Feral Link..

I guess u have total different play style than I have.
For me I like switching monsters depends on what I do or what I type of enemies I am facing. I get bored quick using same monters again and again. lol

My typical monsters packs are:
V. Lightning (Com), Lightning (Rav), Sazh (Syn)
Chichu (Com), Cloudburst (Rav), Goblin Cheiftain (Sen)/ Gahongas (Syn)
Red Chocobo (Com), Blue Chocobo (Rav), Purple Chocobo (Syn)

Then, I switch around Omega (Com), Valfodr (Rav) and Nabaat (Sab) with some of those monsters depends on how i get bored w/ my current Paradigm. lol

I'm getting bored of switching all the time lol... I'm rushing in with same formation and hey, I own them all, making it simple, much more simple + it's easy... I'm changing from time to time, it depends... I had munchkin for a long, long time, got bored of that stupid monster and changed to chocobo, golden one, it's still weaker but hey it's more enjoyable that way... I haven't tried any Synergist monster, tried Saboteur and it was an all mighty fail lol...

My only paradigm pack is: GC (Golden Chocobo), GC (Green one) and Lancer (Sentinel) and that's that... Long Gui got owned by that pack, if I'm about to die or if enemy tries to hit me with heavy attack (3000+ hp), there is always tortoise... That was very useful trick, it halves damage dealt by Long Gui from 2000 approx to 1000 hp or less... I'm not using any guides for enemies just for hard ones which I was unable to kill after 5 tries but it's a rare occasion lol
