Wow, might trigger a lot of negative vibes with this one.......Anyway, what do you guys think should be done about the situation with the Mexican border?

I could really care less, I think that Hispanics will do most of the grungy jobs that Americans will not do because of our pride and snobby attitudes.....

Without Hispanics working in the American economy, some businesses would go bankrupt and it would ruin the economy(even though its not so great as is but, it would be a whole lot worse).....

I DO NOT MEAN TO OFFEND ANYBODY WITH THIS THREAD.
NO, I AM NOT RACIST.

I really don't care about it. :/

Besides, Mexicans are cool people. If we didn't have them, who would help us with outdoor work? XD

We were studying immigration/illegal immigration to the US right before school let out for the summer.

I really am p i s s e d at peoples' attitudes toward illegal immigration. The laws I could really care less about. People will violate them no matter what happens. But the people of America are afraid that the immigrants, who have just as much rights as they do, will take "their" jobs, bring absurd ideas into the US, etc. I don't get it. And they also get mad that two illegal immigrants, if they have a child on US soil, then that child is a US citizen. They're mad about that! I don't understand it at all.

It doesn't really matter. Canada would probably have no problems with the Mexican immigrants, so I don't see why the US would. If the guy takes your job, then he's more qualified for that position than you, and it would benefit America's economy, so what's the problem? It's not like the US is overpopulated. Besides, all Americans were once illegal immigrants since they basically invaded North America in the 1600s.

To Domino: Well, the American population says that the reason they are getting our jobs is because they will work for really cheap...so that pisses a lot of people off, but on the other hand, they will not pick peppers in the blazing hot summer, Etc....So in the end, neither side will win.

To TF: Bringing absurd ideas into the US? Never heard that argument before....

I honestly don't care except for the thought of people selling drugs illegally through underground tunnels.

Yeah that's what my teacher said...It seemed weird to me as well but it probably has to do with politics and such.

Wow, your teachers pretty far out there.

A sub said that...but that was a sub for a sub...like, our teacher got sent somewhere for the Airforce and so we had a sub basically the entire year. And then our sub needed a sub near the end and so....:D So subs for a sub are pretty far out there. xD

I just think America wants to remain "clean" as they would say. The Bush Administration makes up excuses, such as gang violence to try and keep the American people just that, American. There are alot of high-wealth residents supporting and funding the Bush Administration, and these high-wealthers are the kind of people who are all american. Bush thinks (with his poor maths skills) Mexicans = no funding = no chance to puch the button to blow up France.

That is a perfect example oh how Bush's mind thinks. But yes I agree with what you said. Everything said well.
