What are your views on homosexuals? I was talking to this kid at uni a while back who thinks all gay people should burn because its "Not the way god wanted it." What a shit opinion. I wouldnt usually disregard someones opinion but to hate someone for that is just pathetic IMO. Im gay myself and i dont act any different to any straight "normal" person and i couldnt care less how anyone wants me to act or be. :nag:
Anyway, my point is, i think people should be allowed to hate gays or whatever if its what they really think because it doesnt effect me really, however when its for shitty reasons thats NOT EVEN WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE. Thats when it pisses me off. ;S

It is in the bible "man shall never lay with another man" or something, but i don't follow the bible.
I had a disccusion about this in health class and one of the students is a peacher so you know how the conversation went down. But we can't hate people for what they believe. If someone lilkes another of the same sex so be it, not my choice to "guide" them in the right direction. They aren't hurting anybody either at least in my opinion.
Anyway, i hate topics like this. When game/manga/cartoon forums get serious they lose some of the fun. So chances are I will avoid topics like this in the future.

I don't see what's so wrong with being homosexual or gay. If you love someone and want to be with that person, it shouldn't matter what gender they are. :cunning:
I don't get what's with all the bible shizz, it's not as if God actually wrote it himself so we can't exactly take it as his exact word, can we? What the bible says shouldn't really sway our personal sexual preferences. It's like giving our life rules.

Yes it is stupid to hate someone for liking a person of the same. And it just so happens that I had a conversation about that in Health class. Small class but everyone was involved even the teacher. And being the only gay kid in the room was very embarassing. Everyone was talking and yelling at people, they were arguing about being gay, how they're treated in school. I was sitting literally in the middle of the classroom listening to everyone. I think I was mostly talked about as I accidently started it.

Lol, Im not shy of talking about it to people, partly because their opion probably wont change much and partly because people don't ask often. xD
Funniest part was, this kid didnt know i was gay, then went on about his hatred for them, yet he was still being friendly to me and everything, which just prooves that he had no idea what he was going on about and it proves that the typical gay man flicking his wrists and shit is a sterotype. If i was like that saying "hun" all the time it would be obvious, but im not and i hate that people think all gays are like Graham Norton. :nag: If i was like that, he'd have chased me with a knife, but sinse im not he was none the wiser. :cunning:
Anyway, i hate topics like this. When game/manga/cartoon forums get serious they lose some of the fun. So chances are I will avoid topics like this in the future.
Sorry, just expressing an opinion.

Yeah that's a perfect example. He didn't know you were gay because when he thinks about gay people he has an image in his mind due to shows like Will and Grace and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. I wish there were more masculine gay men on T.V. If you have seen The Real World, Svetlana was so shocked about this gay man that Tyler brought home because he didn't "look" gay. She even thought her bf was gay it goes to show that there are a lot of people out there who when they think gay they think femme queen.

I LOVE Karen and I don't mind Jack but it's when people use him as the example of the typical gay guy is what gets me mad. Not all of us are like that. It's just as bad as any other stereotype.

Yes and I... highly dislike those people. The person could be wicked hot but I would turn them down if they acted like a woman.

How do we know that were straight? Just because it's what's supposed to be "normal"? Trust me I know.

I heard somewhere, on TV i think, that you dont know our true sexuality until your 21. I doubt it means as soon as you hit 21 you'll be like 'oomffmof im gay' but its apparently true although scientists nowadays seem to think that everything gives you cancer...so i dont know what to believe :P

People make being gay out to be something bad when it just different. I have a very open mind to gays as I grew up with them. Most of my mom's friends are gay males. I know how they act. of course I didn't know they were gay while I was growing up and now that I do it made me realize that being gay doesn't make you different. It is people's prejudices that make it seem like you are different. Gay people love, so do straight people therefore why should you not like somebody who loves?
