School Year Finale

The school year is about to end, (or has it already depending on the poster). Anyway I justed to know what everyone felt or did during this school year prior to its coming (or closed) conclusion.

For me...

1. Ive talked to Game Designers and Manga Writers.
2. Finished writing some poems and spirits.
3. 1st Season of my anime is complete
4. Got my 3D animation and digital imaging :D :D :D
5. Got a Game Design book with programs and tutorials on how to make them (so perhaps youll see some of my work very soon...)
6. Joined the Navy for Meteorogly for a solid foundation
7. Will join Full Sail Now for Game Design while im in the Navy
8. Passed all my classes
9. Made movies
10. Created a card game with a friend of mine.

This year was actually not the best as my past school years. Although from above ive done alot, the feeling of it was a great school year just wasnt there.

Many of the administrators at my high school were just too focused on the rules and displinary actions versus actual learning. More over half of the teachers would blantly insult the students intelligence by gophering for "points" or outpowered by the teachers word. On the good side, this was a perfect opportunity for me to do things on my own time. Trying things like messing with a random program or writing a story.

I suppose then my senior year really represented the doubled bladed sword of adventure on one side while obligation on the other.

But what about you guys, how has your school year been?

SWEET! You are the first person who I have heard talk about Full Sail. I am going to go there as well after I graduate. I do not know if I want a degree for Graphic design or Game design.......

My school year sucked and rocked at the same time...I really didn't do anything special. (Besides joining the forums. :D) I actually wore a dress twice in one year. :blink: That's a new record!

My end of the year conclusion:

1: Sleep
2: Graduate from middle schoo.
3: Be on the computer

As you can all tell that's soooooo exciting.

We are all strange in our own way. That is what makes us what we are. And since I was labeled "Goody two shoes" I was basically looked down upon...all cause I don't like the things that the "average" girly girl likes. Make-up, talking about dating/boys, clothes, clothes shopping, etc. The list goes on and on. So I'm glad I can make a fresh start at a new school. Although this will probably happen to me again...I'm used to it by now.

Well I was reffering to the fact that other people call you strange....I do agree with you though about the whole thing about you being strange makes you who you are.

Cool, I hate shopping, I hate sports, I hate the chicks at my school, I hate sports on t.v., especially the super bowl...........Anyway, this is off topic, I should have put this in the Things I Hate thread.

Well, mine's not quite over yet, but it's been another rather typical year, I guess. Nothing special really happened. At school it's been just another year of inside jokes with my friends, arguments with people that tick me off, and my parents acting a heck of a lot more like I'm not responsible at all.

Oh well. Oh, very late this year I did get my beloved PS7. 8D And taught myself it in March. That's like, what, my biggest accomplishment this year :/

Oh, and I think I've gotten to know some people better at my school. Like my friend I didn't know existed last year xD

i laugh when i see a girl cry about breaking her nail.........hehe my friend was like that....im the only girl in my group of friends that like or even know about games,ff,cars oh yh,manga..........but no im not a tomboy nor do i remotely look like one

My year was better than others. But it was still annoying and boring. Anything good that happened........no.<_< And I still have 3 weeks of school left. :(

Lecturers didn't have a clue what they were talking about, no option to have a placement year and they couldn't work out how to turn the smoke detector off during the morning meeting so it beeped every 30 seconds. Really disappointing :/

They do have some contacts with game developers like Eidos and Climax but the course itself didn't seem very good.

Also! What are you all complaining about!? Here in England we have to stay in school until late July and come back Early September! You have huge summer holidays! Only now we're out of lower education can we leave earlier.

Wow....England needs to get a better one. Full Sail has EA, buts thats all I can think of right now....

My summer vaction time might get cut short by 2 weeks cause of a new bill being passed.:(

Our school gets out May 31th, we also have the 28th off so i also have 2 and half more days of school! but its nothing to celebrate about.........i have to go to a music school all during June. I play the voilin..................never in my life have i ever gone to any type of camp/school during the summer.........

Well anyway, i still have one more test to do on tuesday and then its just going to be madness on wednesday and thusrday.

Well nothing really spectacular happened my freashman year, well at least of wat i can think right now. My couisn alreday graduating his senior year so we probably going to have a crazy/messed up party, and that pretty much it

Sucks for you guys, but my summer got cut like most people and I heard summer vacation gets shorter from there every year in my district:'(

Today is the last official day for my 3D animation class, next friday (since im ditching thursday) will just be a party day. I passed my chemistry sol but failed algerba II.

Its no bigge to me though even though I failed, since ill have to relearn algerba II in the Navy and take a refreshment course at full sail :D.

When i get my camera ill take a pic of my degree :D.

Hopefully I can get some of the videos i made and post them on youtube for everyone to see :).
