A long time ago, Dawn of the Dead director George A. Romero teamed up with horror novelist Stephen King to create what was quite possibly the gretest EC Comics tribute of all time. Then they released Creepshow 2 and although it was not as well recieved, it was still liked by fans to some extent.

Fast forward some 20 years later to the present day and to Creepshow III. This film is in no way connected to the others, and it seems it was only made to cash in on what's in the header. :nag:

No care was taken to ensure that the film would be a hit. The result? Five poorly acted pieces of garbage that are strung together for the hell of it, so that characters from other stories end up meeting.

No scare factor at all. It's like a really bad episode of Goosebumps that goes on for 90+ minutes.

You have to see it to understand how bad it is, but I'll try and sum it up.

Spoilers.

One of the stories (the better ones any way) is about a radio that tells its owner what to do. Sounds like a good wee tale, only it's a bit too short and simple.

Then in another story, a call girl (who is also a murderous psycho) ends up in bed with a guy who is really a vampire. At least that's what he looked like on screen. Some decent gore effects, but that's about as good as it gets.

The funniest story in my opinion was the one about the man who choked on the bun, and comes back to haunt the selfish doctor who gave it to him. WTF?

Have you ever heard of two guys dismantling a woman? Well that's what two losers do to some professor's new date. They think she's a robot because the guy could never get laid otherwise. To their amusement, they learn that she really was a human after all, and they butchered her for nothing...

Really...This was no horror movie. Some zany films can be good, but this was just an insult to the first two very great Creepshow flicks. I recommend you stick with Creepshow I and II and avoid this one at all costs.
