I don't know how it's wrong from an unreligious point of view unless you blatantly explain it to me without bringing God in; also, if protection is used correctly, it won't result in pregnancy (usually). If you do get pregnant, abortion and adoption are always options. If you have to have the baby... then child care does become an issue.

I'm 17 and I'm virgin. And indeed sex before or even after marriage doesn't distinguish that you're good girl or bad girl. You cannot judge the meaning of good girl by virginity. It's absolute not make sense thing. Religious belief about sex before marriage is a load of bullshit as along with religious belief of homosexuality. Medically speaking you can come to the conclusion, without knowing any of their past actions, that a girl has had sex... but if you're talking about the physical act of having intercourse than you'd just be lying to yourself whenever you'd say that you've "sort of..."
