need help with party members plx

I am replaying FFVIII and I am having much more fun comparing to the time I was playing FFXIII :| again damn u SE for that shitty game !
I have more control on my chars ! intstead of watching them !!

anyway I have to choose my party now and I dont know abt the best memebers.
I used to play with Zell and Rinoa and I am pretty sure Rinoa has the highest Str and Magic power, but this time I dont wanna have zell arround, a new memeber maybe. I have finished the game 4 times with the same party but not this time.
would u plz share me your opinion abt character stats and their limit breaks ?
as I can remember Quistis has the weakest limit break ...

Use Irvine. His gun stats are good, and his Limit Break is great, especially with Fast Ammo. Just make sure you get Ammo-RF from (Quetzalcoatl?). Maybe Shiva... :/

Personally I hate Selphie because of her Limit Break. It's just random.

Quistis is actually okay. Her Blue Magic is pretty useful and Shockwave Pulsar is a great spell.

So.. use Irvine.

heheh, me, too, for the 5th :P

may I suggest you to use Squall + Irvine + Rinoa/Sephie?
aaas you know Squall is the best in that party with his Renzokuken, use GF Shiva + Bahamut + Eden on him, with the right Junction and high level + his Lionheart, he'll be gud ^_^

for Irvine, you know his limit break is Shot. it'll be good if you have lots of AP ammo and his Exeter.
GF Diablos + Ifrit will fit him (at least your Status Junction is fulfilled). make sure to have him in lvl 50+ if you wanna make him second strongest (with the right S-Junction, dude)

for Rinoa/Sephie, I think, both are same (with their Shooting Star and/or Strange Vision). GF them with Carbuncle + Alevander + Leviathan (for their Treatment or Recover). No need skill Revive, dude, screw with it. again with the right input of your S-Junction every battle, it'd be easy enough fur you. lvl 50+ is gud, too. ow, for Selphie's Limit Break, The End is the best, dude.

I know you know what to do, juz keep fighting whatever to upgrade ur lvl, GF and status, you'll always a step ahead. and about their strongest weapon, you know what to do ;)

I think FFVIII > FFXIII For its gameplay .... I know one is a PS1 game and the othe is a PS3 game xD
aslo FFVIII has a simple romantic story which is the weakest FF story imo but atleast it was unique !

You obviously have never used Degenerator, Ray Bomb or Shockwave Pulsar.

All the limit breaks, at the higher levels, are very very good. Except for Irvine's. Selphie has several very good options in Slot, including ones that can insta-kill even bosses. Lionheart and My Final Heaven are very powerful finishing moves for Squall and Zell, which is nice because with their initial attack it's liking having two attacks in one. Zell's in particular can be drawn out quite a while if you're quick with your fingers. Rinoa's Angel Wings I never really bothered with but Angelo is good, particularly Invincible Moon and Wishing Star.

For what it's worth, my team was always Squall, Rinoa and Zell. But really, it doesn't matter who you have in your team. As I have said numerous times, all that matters in VIII is that you junction the best spells to them.

Meh, Quistis is kinda the weakest though, I mean yeah those three Limits are pretty good, but. *Shrugs*
Zell with Ergheiz and that second last limit, I forget what its called, that summersault-kick one, that's awesome. Lionheart, as mentioned, Wishing Star...get Selphie's The End, if you can, heh. It kills anything in a shot. I forget what all the best Sta Junctions are, gah, must go back and replay VIII, its been so long!

To note, I did get everyone's best weapons, and killed Omega Weapon, but i was missing 4 cards in TT(Doomtrain, Kiros, Chocobo...and some other..).
