FFXIII / FFT similarities

I was just looking up some stuff on FF Wiki, and noticed how similar the Virgo Stone in Final Fantasy Tactics is to Serah's l'cie crystal.

It's also interesting how the Virgo Stone ends up being the stone belonging to Ramza's little sister.

It's a tear....

Serah cried for whatever reason and obviously it will be shaped like a tear.

It's just coincidence. Grasping at straws now.

Edit: I don't know why Virgo's stone is shaped like that, I looked it up and virgo has something to do with the sun...
I saw the other FFT's stone and they resemble something related to their name.

Well, it certainly is something odd to point out...It's just a stone/tear thing...
And plus you're refrencing something about a common shape--- a tear, but ok reference away.

And that the stones both belong to the younger siblings of the main character whom they must save. Really, if you're going to be ostentatious then at least read the whole post. And if you feel it odd, then you have just as much freedom to NOT comment and find a thread you enjoy more.

No need to bust a nerve there. The post wasn't that long---I read it. And unless a mod/admin/whatever says otherwise, I can post my comment if I like. I just think a tear is a tear is a tear (the shape I mean).

I'll just make nice and say yeah; it's a cool similarity to FFT and leave it at that. Now that I look at it, it's extremely similar to the stone, I bet it would look the same if the virgo stone were transparent.

Both Serah and Alma are useless little sister/distressed damsels whose only ingame scope is to be so precious to give the main character the reason to move from point A to point B.
