Dante, I assume you did not read the "Theater Guidelines" Square Enix has posted in the "Schedule" page:

"To throw the thing while viewing facing toward the stage, when photographing (), sound recording such as animated picture and photograph is discovered, because immediately you leave, please acknowledge.
Concerning photographing and recording as for notice details this in regard to verification, please protect rule."

Which in plain English means: If caught throwing things on stage, taking pictures or recording videos you will be forced to leave. The second sentence even says that they will especially enforce the rule which says that no recording/etc is allowed.

bah...

someone's gonna sneak in a tiny spycam anyways, like those that can be hidden inside a jacket collar or something...hopefully....but wtf, why always a closed megatheater, I'd better become a journalist if I'm gonna see anything from inside there...but I wanna do 3D modeling...and then I can start at Square when I learn japanese!!!!!...not....

Well anyones free to go into the Closed Mega theatre and it's free to get into Part aswell. People always used to film Advent Children trailers before that came out in these private theatres but no one seems to be bothering with FFXIII. I'd pay someone to go film it for us :(

we could train a chimpanzee to use a camera and film certain things, then we could dress him up as a young japanese girl (possibly shave him) and ship him off to the Square Enix party adress! Then also in the training process teach it to mail itself back to the Uk and give us the film.
:shifty:

Dang, is it really five years since FFXI? Time goes to fast:lol: I must have been 13-14 at that time.

Translate it for me Desi, is it something special that will be added to the game or is it just a celebration of the 5th anniversary?

Does anybody even care about FF11 ?

It is just their yearly event. With contests like the level 1 race, rose battle, and chocobo races, etc. Prizes and costume contests. And a lottery.

The developer team and the soundtrack composers(that is why nobuo is on that one page) are going to be there for public interviews and stuff. We probably learn some new announces since the one last year in Santa Monica revealed the last job for the expansion and the one at tokyo game show explained the job updates.

Does anybody even care about FF11 ?
Only the 500,000 people that play. You should be happy this is the only reason Square has money to throw around on compilations.

It usually ranks as one of the top 5 MMOs and appears 10th on MMORPG.com. Granted, they probably shouldn't have given it a numbered title and have called it Final Fantasy Online instead but it has a huge fanbase. MMOs bring in all the hardcore gamers and make huge money which is why its no surprise Square is working on another one. I didn't realise SWG was so unpopular now either...thats what they get for resetting the combat system though.

It was ranked number 3 from when I checked though that was last year or so. 1 and 2 were WoW and Lineage 2 respectively. I play all three or used too but my accounts closed down.

You just jealous, it deserves it. called Final Fantasy XI Online anywho.

Bah, I'm not jealous  It's just the game is a completely different platform to any of the previous numbered titles so it didn't need to be called XI. Lineage II was great but I was playing on a private server with about 20 - 30 players max on at one time. Was pretty easy to level though as they tuned up the experience.
