An excerpt from the end, just so you folks know what I thought of it.

I had lowered expectations for the game, considering the last three entries in the series were a bit on the weak side. Surprisingly however, the game comes through and not only fills me with a sense of nostalgia for the original, but intense satisfaction. Upon beating the main game, I found myself wanting to go back to the original Kingdom Hearts so I could have an alternate perspective on the whole story. As a prequel, Birth By Sleep succeeds. As a game, it not only meets the standards set by the games in the series, but surpasses them as well.

Same, but then I ended up happening across some spare cash and decided to go for it, only to be pleasantly surprised. Been a while since I went from playing one import game (XIII), to another back to back. Don't regret it though.

It's pretty import friendly to be honest. I was also surprised that the entirety of the story was voiced.

Great review. Thanks for posting. I've only played KH 1 and 2. I enjoyed one, but two was such a piece of shit it made me stop playing. :wtf: 358/2 Days doesn't interest me either because it looks like KH2 except on the DS. No thanks. However, this one has caught my interest. Will buy day one. :D Whenever we get an English release that is. Hurry up S-E. :lol:

Great review. I like the way you wrote it, usually reviewers only write technical stuff and gameplay mechanisms, you talked about what is really important. My opinion about the KH series is the same one as you, KH1 is a masterpiece the other ones are crap, so i beleive i´ll enjoy this game as much as you.

Too bad i don´t have a psp but i´ll get a chance to play this game eventually.
