If you do a Biology degree you'll soon realize that sex is actually quite a paradox thing for evolution to come up with. It's not very energy efficient, it requires two people when many species can reproduce alone, in many cases it involves long-drawn-out courtship procedures, the male oftentimes makes little investment into aspects of family following the mating (and sadly, that also applies to humans), and nowadays, sex just happens to promote the spread of disease as well. Bacteria, the most intriguing organisms on this earth, recreate asexually, but do have "sex", not as we know it. They basically have stripped sex of all its nasty little details and boiled it down to its main evolutionary benefit: the exchange of genetic information. Shocking, but true. The “fun” parts of sex are either just products of random genetic drift, or must be some kind of analogous equivalent to fruits in the reproduction of plants.

Anyway, before I start boring people to death....

I call myself "bisexual", but I don't believe in sexuality. I don't think it's as easy as being born, or "turning", gay, it's just a matter of falling for, or feeling attracted to a certain person for certain qualities that transcend their gender.
