Chinese Sex Museum?

A few days ago I opened Firefox and went to the tab that would usually contain this website, but it was replaced by some website for a Chinese Sex Museum, I thought it was just a one off thing but it just happened again. Is this happening to anyone else?

I haven't had that problem at all. Have you tried going to the site in IE? and if so, does it continue there as well? If it happens again, getting the url address of the website might help the higher ups figure out why it is happening and correct it if it is something on their end. Still, a very odd thing to happen. Try using google for a link to the website instead of using your bookmarked link, and see if the problem continues? (not sure if any of these will help solve / find the problem...but hey its worth a shot I guess)

It's difficult to make it occur again because it seems to do it randomly. I don't access this site through a bookmark but I save the tab it's in so it'll be there when I launch FireFox again, I've also tried closing that tab and opening in a new one and it still happened.

Get something like hijackthis and check your computer for infections. If you haven't already, download AdBlockPlus (http://adblockplus.org/en/) for FF and you should be fine. I've been using a combination of both and this has never happened to me.

I just got it. It wasn't to a sex museum but it redirected to a site called ChinaonTV It seems to only appear on extremely rare occasions but I'll contact our ad company and see what's going on.

Oh, well. Sometimes, these are the kinds of ads that do appear on Googleads.

As a counsellor for youths in the area of Tokyo, I would say that this response from you people shows that you all know that such ads are pretty wrong, in the sense that, though this site isn't aimed at the young, imagine if such ads appeared there. I would have such a good laugh... :P

But there are people who innocently follow these ads and spiral down a deep, dark road...

But is there a way to select categories of ads? Or does it reduce the takings?
