Note: Jeux France had a wrong translation of the interview, I happened to find the proper translation in Gamefront, thus fixing the mistakes. Sorry for the wrong title.
/End Note
In a recent interview given to "Nintendo Dream", Shinji Hashimoto commented on Final Fantasy XIII and said the following:
"The entire Fabula Nova Crystallis project will have the same world view and last approx. 10 years, which is a long period, like in the Star Wars saga or The Lord of the Rings."
I guess the lifespan of next-gen RPG's is going be amazing.
Although it's not FF13 related, I'll post the rest of the interview and more to those that are interested:
Think that sounds interesting? Hear this: Shinji Hashimoto commented on Square Enix's upcoming Wii title, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, which we have almost no info on, and said that the game will make full use of the Wii Controller. He then smiled and said that "Square Enix and Nintendo fans should really look forward to the upcoming Square Enix Party 2007 on May 12-13."
More pieces of information about Dragon Quest IX were given to us by Japanese magazine Gamelabo that claims you will be able to transfer your raised monster from Nintendo DS towards the Wii.
Last but not least, Japanese magazine Famitsu has posted its expected release dates for quite a few Square Enix games:
· Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The Sealed Grimoire: July, 2007
· Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates: August, 2007
· Dragon Quest IX : Protectors of the Sky: November, 2007
You know where its from, I realised from reading the comments that people dislike me giving the same link everytime .
