Lightning is equiped with a sword/firearm hybrid resembling the gunblade from Final Fantasy VIII. Unlike FFVIII, the gunblade actually changes forms from a sword to a firearm. The weapon appears to change forms when Lightning uses a swtich on the handle of the gun. From the E3 2006 trailer, switching between forms during battle seems possible. Officially the weapon hasn't been named yet so this section may be changed at a later date when we have more information. |
