Mezamashi TV has aired even more Final Fantasy XIII footage from today's event but this time there's a lot more of it. The clips in this footage include new CG and new gameplay showing off the new battle system upgrades.

After todays event, Mezamashi TV has aired new footage of Final Fantasy XIII in HD as well as a brief clip of Sayuri Sugawara's performance. This new clip includes the fireworks scene described in our earlier post and shows the new character Serah for the first time.

Earlier Square-Enix announced at the Final Fantasy XIII Premiere that Sayuri Sugawara would be singing the main theme for Final Fantasy XIII called "Kimi ga iru Kara". IGN filmed her live performance at the event and have uploaded 2 minutes of it. You can watch the live preview of the song below.

Play-Asia have now begun accepting pre-orders for the Japanese version of Final Fantasy XIII. Those of you wanting to import the game can order it now for the listed price of $89.90US which is cheaper than Square-Enix's earlier announced RRP of $100. The game will be completely in Japanese but will work on all PS3s around the world.

The events just finished and what better way to wrap it up than with a new trailer? Of course no one was allowed to film it or take photos so we're left once again to rely on trailer descriptions. Thankfully, Brian Ashcraft and Luke Plunkett of Kotaku did a pretty decent job at describing the trailer through their live blog. Apparently there's a new character, Serah is seen for the first time and Sazh's summon is shown in Gesalt mode which is amusing to say the least. Here's their description:

The Final Fantasy XIII Premiere won't be going on much longer but there are still a few details they're announcing. An orchestra has been performing several unheard tracks from the game for the audience. After they finished, it is announced that J-Pop artist Sayuri Sugawara will be performing the theme for Final Fantasy XIII.

The song will be called "Kimi ga iru Kara" (translated to "Because You're Here") and it will be released on December 2nd. She's currently singing it at the event. Brian Ashcraft from Kotaku describes it as "a big sweeping ballard".

Square-Enix has updated their Official Japanese site for Final Fantasy XIII during the Premiere event. The update adds the officially announced release date, price and rating to the "Spec" section as well as updating the characters section with "The Sanctum", which features new screenshots of Yaag and Jihl and finally they've updated the Story section but we haven't translated that yet. For those of you interested, the game will be rated CERO B in Japan meaning the game is suitable for gamers aged 12 and up. Have a look at the new screenshots below.

Did you think the Final Fantasy XII Potion would be the last over priced game related drink you'd try? Well at the Final Fantasy XIII Premiere, Square have just announced that their partners Suntory are making a new drink called Final Fantasy XIII Elixer which we can expect to coincide with Final Fantasy XIII's Japanese release. For those of you who don't remember it, have a look at this awesome Final Fantasy XII Potion advert. Let's hope we can expect a similar campaign for Elixer.

While the Final Fantasy XIII Premiere Event is having a break, Famitsu have conveniently posted some new direct feed screenshots of Final Fantasy XIII for you to have a look at. They're the same two new screenshots featured in the latest issue but of course at higher quality.

The Party is taking a small break at the moment for people attending to drink some FFXIII inspired cocktails and play the demo they have at the event. Just before the recess, Kaz Hirai, Head of Sony Computer Entertainment came on stage and announced that they are planning a Final Fantasy XIII Playstation 3 bundle to coincide with the launch of the game.

Nothing is solid yet but I'm sure many of us were expecting it. We assume this announcement is for Japan only (at the moment anyway) and we aren't sure whether it will include a limited edition Final Fantasy XIII PS3 Slim like the Cloud Black PS3 and FFXII PS2 preceding it.
