IGN have posted a new trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2 from the New York Comic Con. The trailer centres on the conflict with Caius, supposedly immortal and a kind of timeline overseer who has a bone to pick with absolutely everyone. He and his Yeul start getting in everyone’s faces and the whole tone turns antagonistic.

Points to note are Lightning’s avoidance when Serah asks if they’ll ever be together again and Yeul insinuating that Serah’s on her merry way to death if she and Noel continue messing with the timeline. Sounds like Serah might be screwed no matter what, which is great. Unless you like Serah, I mean.
