This months issue of Game Informer has a one page preview of Final Fantasy XIII and a little block of text about Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Nothing in the article is new, apart from GI's interpretation of this screenshot:

They describe it as "A creature being executed, pierced by hundreds of thin wires". Until now it was unclear what this screenshot was showing and we believed it to be something to do with the crystal, and GI's observation make sense but it's unclear if they're just guessing or they actually know.
